July 8, 2011 — robBack in October of 2007, for my birthday, Rob gifted me "Rebel without a Crew" by Robert Rodriguez. I flew through the pages in no time, amazed by the story Mr. Rodriguez had. Inspired I set out to make a film of my own, with a cast and crew of just one- me. The Idea was to write, direct, shoot, star, and edit all by myself.

Waking Up In Film

During Thanksgiving break of 2007, I found myself staying with my brother in Denver. It was about 12:30am (this was well before my current 10 hour job, so I could still afford to keep such late nights) and my brother had gone to bed, leaving me to my own devices. Left with a camera, an empty apartment, and no desire for sleep, an idea struck me for a one-man film. So, for the next three to four hours, I improvised a short film.
