October Country: Walking Dead Season 2 Trailer!
Apparently the Walking Dead Season 2 Trailer hit Comicon today. I have to say that this trailer delivers the goods. I'm a huge fan of the Robert Kirkman comic book and remain a huge fan of Frank Darabont.
The melding of these two creative gentlemen is a natural fit. I enjoyed season one immensely. Not just for the zombies, but for the story and characters. As someone who has never been able to give himself over to cable dramas involving Plastic Surgeons, Serial Killers, Fire Fighters or Motorcycle gangs, I was amazed at what adding a spoonful of zombies could do for me. The first season was well cast and expertly directed. There were a few episodes that did slow the roll, but hey, it was season one. I'm looking forward to the prison storyline and perhaps the introduction of The Governor! Also, rumor has it that Stephen King may write an episode this season. I'm in.
Anyway, I can't wait for October! Let's hope we have more than six episodes to look forward to.
