CBP Show Webisode 2: "The Saxman"

Video type not supported

We've talked this one up for a while. Those of you familiar with the classic 80's vampire film "The Lost Boys" should appreciate it. Unlike most of today's youth who are surrounded by sexy vampires with problems, Monty, Steve and I grew up in an era where vampires were aloud to be scary. This is not the case anymore and perhaps we are the poorer for it. Or maybe, there is room for all brand of bloodsuckers in the world of cinema...even ones who sparkle like unicorns in sunlight.

Anyway, some fun facts: This episode was in fact born out of a conversation we had while discussing "The Lost Boys", everyone I know, who has seen this film remembers the "Greased-Up Sax Guy" and finds this section of the film to be a tad disarming. It's almost as if the film stops just for him. His performance has no real baring on the plot, other than his carnival of thrusts gives Michael a chance to spot Star who then leads him into the world of the undead. It should also be pointed out, that Monty actually took the time (Out of his own curiosity, mind you) to find out who the "Greased-Up Sax Guy" actually is. The answer: Tim Cappello. All of the facts about this man are real, as presented by Monty in the episode.

In closing, Monty's fascination with this man, and our fascination with Monty's fascination spawned Webisode 2 of the CBP Show. Just in time for Halloween too. Also, if you haven't seen "The Lost Boys" check it out, it's a great, fun, gory, action filled movie. It should also be noted, that this is the first film to give us not just one Corey, but the requisite two. They are truly a set that must never be separated.

Thanks for hanging in there with us,
-Rob
