Animated Monologues

Animated Monologues (Ani-logues)

On Foot (Ani-Logue 13)

Like most of the animated monologues, this one is based on true events. I did in fact get my Jeep stolen Thursday before last. With so many fantastic things happening recently, I must admit, I was waiting for the other shoe to drop.

Pandering OR Rob Sells Out (Ani-Logue 12)

The subject of this video has been a major topic of discussion amongst me and my associates for about the past six months. I didn't originally subscribe to the youtube philosophy, because I didn't want to be in league with "Those kinds of people". My main goal has always been to tell good stories, hone my skills and hopefully bring a little humor, thought and entertainment into the lives of my audience. If they enjoyed their stay in theatre of my mind, perhaps they would come again-and bring friends.

Ani-Logue 9: Jury Duty

I did go in for jury duty and was in fact selected to serve. I had never before served on a jury but found the experience rewarding and interesting. No comic book law men served as judge and the entire experience was less jovial than Night Court. However, I found that the experience was perfect fodder for an animated monologue. What you see in the video is 75 percent true, I leave it to you to decide which 75 percent.

Ani-Logue 8: The Photograph

I've wanted to do some animated monologues about my family for a while now, and while this is far from a "tribute", I may consider it a prologue. I would also like to take this time to apologize if any of you found this a bit of a departure from the usual silly subject matter of the animations. However, I should point out, that all of my animations are rooted in some sort of reality.

Philadelphia Filmathon "Son of a Beach" Trailer

These past several weeks have been quite stressful for me.  Between two beautiful wedding ceremonies (Congratulations Geoff, Amber, Sis and Rick!), my day job (10 hours a day is a common occurrence), looking for a new place to live (Finally got one!) and the news of attending the Philadelphia Filmathon, I've been worn down to a bloody nub.

"Gentleman of the Road" Ani-Logue 7

The seed of the "Animated Monologue" as it is today began with a comic I created when I was working retail. I only did the one comic, but I had plans for others. One such idea was me on the road, in the Great Depression, getting accosted by a well known media mogul who, in the context of the story, was rather fond of stabbing hobos. (Steve and I find situations such as these hilarious for some dark and unknown reason)

"Human Larva" Ani-Logue 6 Dir. Rob Walker

Summer is usually "Wedding Season" but lately it feels a bit more like "Baby Season" and no, I don't mean to hunt babies. For those of you who think that, there is a short for you HERE.
