So, today at 7:00 PM I will be screening four of my shorts as a part of The University of Northern Colorado International Film Series Oscar Shorts screening. I feel honored to be asked to participate in something like this. I do public screenings as often as I can, but it’s usually more of a loose format. This event seems like it will be a tad more academic, which will be a cool change. It thrills me most of all, that the audience will be there entirely for the shorts.

As a purveyor of the short format, or a "sprinter", to borrow a term from Ray Bradbury, I watch a great many short films. And like any other medium, many of them are good, but most of them are wretched. However, a few of these manage to rise above the rest and tell a story that is both compelling and fun to watch.
